A first-of-its-kind training program in South America
The vertical terrain rescue course was initiated by the SAR School and Fernando Gonzales Rubio in 2017 as a response to the lack of organizations specialized in rescue for mountaineers and climbers in Colombia. Its objective is to form an international network of individuals specialized in vertical terrain rescue.
The course trains for rescue in all adventure sports: Climbing, Mountaineering, Canyoning, Rappel, Paragliding, Trail Running, Cycling Mountaineering and everything related to vertical terrain.
Course available in English and Spanish. Optional translation service in French and German.
